Defra has recently announced that Farmers will be able to sign up for the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) from the 18th of September.
You should have received an email from the RPA at some point from Wednesday the 30th of August with the subject title: Sustainable Farming Incentive – update.
Inside the email there is the following link to register interest for the Sustainable Farming Incentive: https://defragroup.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4NrweBnVkycIkT4
If you are planning on entering into the SFI, it is recommended that you register your interest, using that link, as soon as possible as you are required to register your interest before being invited to make an SFI application.
Once you have registered your interest using the link, you should receive the following confirmation email:
“Dear Sir or Madam Thank you for your interest in applying for SFI 2023. We have received your response and are starting to invite farmers to access the service in a controlled way over the coming weeks.
We expect to invite most customers to apply within 4 weeks of us receiving their interest. We will be in touch when we are ready to invite you with details of how to access the service to start your application.”
